O’Neills and the Penrith Panthers is proud to unveil the 2025 Penrith Panthers Indigenous Round Jersey; a colourful tribute to Darug and Burramattagal people, land and culture.
This vibrant official NRL jersey pairs a black base with striking Indigenous artwork and symbolism in the classic red, green, and yellow colourway of Penrith Panthers jerseys.
The intricate linework and dot painting represents landmarks synonymous with the Penrith region – including the Nepean River and the unique topography of the Blue Mountains – as well as indigenous wildlife and local Burramattagal waterways, from the Parramatta River out to the foot of the Mountains. The male (fruit bat) and female (ring-tail possum) totems of the Darug Nation adorn the shoulders, sitting proudly above the colours of both the Australian Aboriginal flag and the Torres Strait Islander flag.
On the back, the Penrith Panthers Academy ‘yarning circle’ is represented as the club’s meeting place, with 17 blocks – representing the playing squad that takes the NRL field each week – surrounded by the handprints of indigenous players and staff.
